The Challenge

The primary challenge we faced was to recreate a website that would match the brand 100%. The brand owner wasn't happy with the previous website design she had. It didn't sell, it looked outdated and was very hard to manage because it was custom-built. So they needed a long-term growth tool build on Shopify with a good design. The market was saturated with websites like this one and the task of carving out a unique and nice website for Alinari Firenze was both daunting and crucial.

The Solution

In response to this challenge, we chose to not overcomplicate the process. The Prestige theme from Shopify was 50% ready for our needs and we chose it to move forward with. Simplicity and elegance were the main requirements for the website, so we tried to keep it very simple to use and not oversaturate it with different colors and functionality.

Moreover, the brand owners decided to niche down on women's handbags only, and that was a very good decision in our opinion. We believed in the simplicity of the development & process for this project will help us a lot and it did. Furthermore, we created the product page almost from scratch for the best conversion rates.
